Hygiene products take up a lot of space in the suitcase, better would be then reusable containers in small sizes, which you can buy in the drugstore. You can then simply fill your products. If you prefer to take opened products with you, then you can additionally put a small plastic foil under the screw cap on the bottle, so that guaranteed nothing can leak.
To fit more in your suitcase, you should roll your clothes rather than fold them, because this saves space. You can roll up your already folded clothes from your closet as well as roll up smaller items in t-shirts or pants for example. You'll notice that when you unpack, things will be much tidier.
The drinks in the hotel rooms are just tempting, especially if you have just arrived. Most of the time, these are drinks that come along like a welcome gift, but are not included and can be very expensive. So it's best to ask the service beforehand or bring your own drinks.
There's probably nothing more pleasant than coming home to an air-conditioned hotel room after a hot day. But in many hotels, the air conditioning and lights require the room card. But you can also use another card with a similar format and put it into the adapter. Most of the time this is the credit card, which then ensures that even during your absence your room stays pleasantly cool. However, you should keep in mind that this is not necessarily environmentally friendly.
Especially in times of a pandemic, people become a bit more cautious. Certain things, especially in hotels, you don't necessarily want to touch then, precisely because these things are in many hands. This applies for example to the remote controls and there can be many of them, for the TV, for the blinds or the room temperature. If you want to protect yourself from bacteria or viruses, you can either disinfect them with disinfectant wipes or put a small, thin plastic bag over the controls and tie it tightly.
